first i know why they call it testing.....it will test every last nerve and brain cell to the max!!
i have read for a while now,but i guess it is just not enough. i got my 102 open and saved a lot of places the same with both flashes of my ird.
problem is when i goto gendt08sk3.3 and input my file i get nothing for ird info.
i have tried several methods.
1 using the 6000 tsop combine tool
2 using just u45
3 using just u41

i ran flashedit(new ver) and when i input my files from jkeys5900 i get all my values. i tried to make a virgin eeprom and use those files but same result.

ONLY thing i may be doing differant is i checked the old avr-x pinout on plug and used them for j-tag hookup. it seems to work fine ird and all values are identified. or at least it says so. any way i can verify that files out of jkeys are valid before i mess with jtag hookup? like in flashedit or something?
any help would be great how about some 6000 friends? :(

I played around a lot with J-keys on my 6000. if Jkeys is reading each tsop and creating a file, and is reading your EEPROM and creating a file those should be valid. I had a lot of trouble with my 6000 reading and writing tsops because of bad electrical connections to my J-tag device. I use the avr-x header that I soldered and along with a connector cable I salvaged from an old PC board. once these were resolved I could easily read and write anything on my 6000. took me a week to figure that out. good luck. expecting my unlocker and programmer this week. let you know how it works.

thanks i think my problem was the cam. i went a differant route and jkeys works fine. the gentsk version said my cam had the idea keys messed up. thanks alot. i had this 6000 going for about 2 years using various testing methods and have been very pleased. can't wait for my 1080p hdtv. spud
