GenDT08_SK v3.3 Problem

When trying to generate a SK for a 501 PVR I do everything as instructed in the How to section but my problem is that the SK button grays out and becomes a DT08 button, Any one have any idea's why this is occuring. The card is married to the IRD (501 PVR) and the card is desubbed (last in stream in 2004) and the card has a DT08 on it already.
I am reading that it is an absolute necessity to have a SK!
What am I missing here or doing wrong?
The firmware is at P309, I get channel 101 and 213(NASA) PPV Previews and the rest of the guide is red.
I am really puzzled!!

I did my 301.010 with no problem as it did not need the SK, but this 501 PVR is kickin my ass.

I got kicked big time by my 501 today too. Don't feel bad.

At least you didn't loop your card. *sigh* Plastic is HARD!

The instruction guide is good to a point but someone with a 501 should go through it step by step and smooth out the rough edges 'cause if you follow it exactly you can still get caught. Best of luck!

Chess If the card is married to the IRD and is desubbed then you should Not need to use GenDT08. All you should need to do is read and save the image/bin from the card make a copy of the saved image/bin and use the copyed one in DT-TierWorks to first wipe the tiers then make new tiers and save it take the image/bin you saved in DT-Tiers and open it up in N2Edit and apply the V28E blocker and save it and name it so you will know it has the new tiers and blocker on it then write it to your card and watch tv.:D:D

Don't forget to only use Part 1 of the blocker and change the Cam ID in the blocker to match the one on your card And put your own Password in the blocker.:D
