There's one thing that confuses me. Supposing you have a fresh brand new open 102 card and you want to program it (after creating a backup bin file)what are your options. Is the following correct:

a) Follow the step by step instructions posted at milli's site: http://www.bellexpress.vu/dt08.html (Also, is this set-up for B*v only or also for D....N...)

b) Use a bin file from this site in the files section (matching the rev of course) and putting a blocker on it.

YOu do not have to match rev if you use a public hack bin. if you select the receiver you want to program the card too, it will tell you whether or not you need dt08 or sk Those instructions are for either bev or dish. just make sure you work with a virgin bev image if you have a dish card or vice versa

Thanx, that clarifies that. Just one other thing, someone mentioned to me that I should use the rev 109 blocker posted on this site. My current card is a Rev103. So if I create my tiers and what not, then use that blocker, will it spoof my card to 109?

yes it will actally put a 109 image onto your card, and allow you a way back into it. it is more than a spoof. it is almost like actually having your card update.
