I'm getting so ticked at myself!!! Apologies in advance for my rant...I've done everything to the T; jtagged ird, write boxkeys / ird # / eeprom, program card with Romcode. And still the "card not suthorized for this receiver". The boxkeys are correct. Even wrote a clean bin back to my card, reprogrammed, still not authorized. Please, has anyone else gotten past this? I'm at my wits end!!
The ird#......are you sure you used the correct letters or numbers when you jtagged it. zero's are not letters o's. f is not a b and 8 is not b.
make sure it is correct using only hex digits. 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and abcdef only

The location of the IRD and Box keys maybe incorrect. They maybe in a moved location for your IRD. Since we don't know whch model your working with. Another possibilty that you didn't mention was did you click on fix CRC after putting in IRD and Box Keys

Sorry, it's a 2800. Definately checked crc. Could my programmer be the issue? I'm using an older iso programmer - actually the one from the old red DSS Rev card days.

just asking....you adding romcode to a bin? or useing there bin? if adding any blocker to a bin the bin if x-subbed needs several things....(2) 05 data types, high provider, low provider. it needs the provider info+, boxkeys , ird dates set to todays date ......fix or check these in romexplorer.....then go to romcode and add your tiers blocker etc.

I'm using their private bin ( I checked that box in the settings menu). Took my unlocked Rom102, cleaned and programmed in Romcode using the default romcode tiers. Got the "prgrammed successfully" message. Wrote ird # / boxkeys to the 2800 ird. Checked that the numbers matched a bunch of times in Jkeys. Inserted card, got "card not authorized for this receiver". I've got two cards for Romcode, both are giving me the error in the receiver.
I'm starting to wonder if my iso programmer is not giving me a good write. Using a new serial cable and plugged into the ac outlet.
I think I'm following all the directions correctly. Not sure what else to do.

one more suggestion...........find the "exact" flash for your chip build thats "unmodded" for that ird and flash your ird....could be somthing in the 2800 flash thats currupt, at least this will give you some idea as if its the card or ird. erase 3 times then write the flash, and it must be the same build. post back what ya find out................post at there site as well might get some input there as well.

Also, you may need to let your receiver take updates to get it to work. I was getting that message and I let my receiver update and I now have everything! :D

Before i unlocked my card reciever and card were married could watch previews and now sence I programmed with romcode now it says card not authorized for reciever ( what do i do now?)

i had the same problem. receiving the previews mean nothing imoh. use romcode private code, use his boxkeys and ird # and should be ok. i have a 501 and i did not create a virgin eprom so i cant record but that can be fixed. i am just to busy right now.

Here's where I'm at:
- downloaded an unmodded TSOP with exact build config and flashed ird. Still receiving "card not valid for receiver".
- tried another ird. Changed boxkeys / ird #, insert card and still receiver error.
NEXT STEP:
- I'm going to unlock the card in Romcode and read it in N2Edit to see what IRD and Boxkeys are on there. Copy and paste those into notepad and see if that's what shows in jkeys for the ird.
Pretty sure I've isolated this thing to either my iso loader, bad card (doubt that cause they were from two different places, unlocked), or Romcode is making zero's, eight's, etc look like O's and B's. My eyes are pretty good, but who knows what numbers / letters got written to the card?

you can take your saved 102 bin in romexplorer and clean code spaced , remove teirs, defrag and save bin. this is as close to a virgin clean bin that your card can have . it will still have your cam id etc just wont have any junk that might have been wrote to it.
Romcode Success I Got It Working ( I CHECKED PRIVATE BIN IN SETTINGS THAT WAS GIVING ME card not authorized for reciever CLEANED CARD REAPPLIED SAVED IMAGE AND UNCHECKED PRIVATE BIN AND PROGRAMMED WORKS) THANK EVERYBODY FOR ALL THERE HELP

Crazyfish - once I clean my original bin, do I need to clean the card before I write the cleaned original bin to it in N2Edit?

when you take the "cleaned bin" that you just made in romexplorer and write it your in affect over writing and cleaning the bin up.Since your useing you saved "original" bin theres going to be nothing wrote to the card that wasnt there when , when you first saved it.
