OK, I'm a dumb newbie - please help

This is my first attempt at ROM 102 coming from AVR-X.
I have ordered but not yet received my nexus unlocker from mili.
Just trying to gather all the files I'm going to need.
I downloaded xpatmel 2.0 .exe Whenever I run it I get this error
"The central directory was not found in the archive (or you were trying to open the last disk of a multidisk archive)"
Could someone please explain what I'm doing wrong? Are there other files I have to download first?

Get XPatmel1.31. Version 2.0 is modified by a third party. You will also need DT-tier works, an appropriate unlocking script for your rev, which will probably be ROM102_ND13_A0FF-INTERCEPT-autoVCC_20 or latest Nagramaster. You will also need an ISO. Don't trust nagramaster and your unlocker to do the programming for you. If you need to change images on your tsop(s), you will need a jtag and jkeys 2.9.9 is about the best unless you have a single chip 301.13, then you want the jkeys specifically for the 301.13.

what operating system r u using......xpatmel only good for windows XP

Also romexplorer, for doing any edits with dates provider, ird etc.Its a good idea since you havnt stated what revison your 102 is at to get some of rebelserfs omni-unlockers as they help with stuburn cards .Nagraedit 2.0.1 is he most current, and nagramaster loader version is a very good program to unlock cards as well.make sure you have current blocker, dttierworks 27 is the lastest ver of that program as well. if you have any questions post em plenty of help around.

I have 2 rom102's. One is at rev 103 and the other is at rev 107. From what I've read, I was going to leave the 107 for last. IRD is a 301.013 single TSOP, with vidmod. I've already read and backed up the TSOP with Jkeys, no problem. Have changed box keys, etc. with Flashedit and rewritten to TSOP and eeprom several times, no problem. Operating system is windows XP. Got DT-tier works & NagraMaster. Did not see ROM102_ND13_A0FF-INTERCEPT-autoVCC_20, I will go search again. I do have an ISO programmer also. Downloaded winexplorer and a bunch of rebelserf stuff just to make sure I'm totally confused. Downloaded V28 blocker, but haven't looked at it yet to see if it's appropriate. The only thing I haven't been able to get to run is that xpatmel. I will go get XPatmel1.31. and see if I can get that to run. If you think of anything else I need, please say so. Thanks again.

Sounds like your getting a pretty good jump on it to me. You should probably also pick up N2edit2_beta1, which is the latest version of N2edit for programming with your ISO.
