View Full Version : New error "This event is locked"

I'm getting closer. Rejatgged, reprogrammed in Romcode, now on every channel I get "this event is locked, please enter your passcode or press up / down". If I say ok to the passcode in th box, I get 005 "your card does not have auth to view this channel". Any idea what to do?
UPDATE: I went into the "locks" section of the menu, and it says "the system is locked. To gain access, please enter your password". What password?

Press right arrow>,right arrow>,right arrow>,right arrow>, OK. It should unlock the edit your controls.

No good. Have 2 ird's, 2 separate cards both using private bins. even if you stick an avr-x in there, I'm getting the locked system. Should I just reflash my TSOP?

it is in the tsop or eeprom has nothing to do with the card. how it got password locked is beyond me, unless you got a bin from downloads, in which case what a0 said works. instead of putting any numbers you just scroll across and leave the astricks there. it is because the tsop has FFFF there because it is blank and the receiver thinks it is the password so by putting in nothing at all it usully works.

Try 2711 - it worked for me for a TSOP that I downloaded to do the Satvia norsa

you may need to reboot with the sub card if you don't have it your out of luck

well rocky, now did you do it? let us know so if someone else has the problem they can fix it w/o posting again.

Had to re-Jtag the unit, still came up as locked. (how, I have no idea). Anyway, I went into the "lock" menu, right arrow till I got to ok. Then I chose to unlock every option I could find. I also changed the lock password to all zeroes.
But Crazy, I can't get past the 005 Card Not Authorized to View This Channel. I'm using the Private Bin option on what was a virgin card. I get the freeview channels ok. Even one that says I'm authorized to view the WWE PPV tonite (which I really want to see). But I can't get any other channels.
