Had a Rom 102 Rev 106 that's married to a dish 301. I unlock it in winexplorer; it's open, but now it has "unknown provider" and the ird says "card not valid for this receiver". Any way to fix this?

try writing your bin that u saved after unlocking back to ur card, and if that doesnt work, somewhere in one of the threads here, there is a byte you can change in your bin, and it will fix it for ya...

yes but god damn it I can't remember which byte. it is completely normal rocky, intercept changes that when it installs to kill the map or hook the bugtable or some fancy coder think we probally wouldn't understand anyway. LOL

At address 30C0 change first two bytes from BF BF to as follows, to reset datapointers:
D*sh is A7 BF
B*v is 9C BF
Camless for D*ish is A5BF......

Thanks Studmonkey. Should I do this in Romexplorer or N2Edit?

n2edit won't let you edit eeprom, have to use romexplorer.

try reading your card again...if its already at the A7 BF, it probally was just an error in the read...

The plot is about to thicken cuz this is what I get when I try to read it:ATR: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 FF 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50 31 30 32 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 17
CAM Type: ROM102 Setting IFS
Provider: Unknown
Reading Card image...
Failed to read card. (Retries: 25)
Don't know what the heck to do,I don't have a unlocker but I think I will be needing one if I hope to use this card again.Need to start looking I think..let mw know.......A
