problem in unlocking 102 using nexus.

Just got new nexus, trying to unlocking a Rom 102 Ver 103. following the procedures posted in the forum, everything is OK with flashing, but every time tried to unlock using Nagramaster, it says need "fash the chip with ND13". Does anybody have any idea why is that? I am using 9V power input. Thanks a lot

yes you need to flash loader with ND13 you will need 220 ohms resistance(adjusting pot) 7.5 volts i guess 9 is fine. and use only swicth 2 and 5 down to unlock card. any other switch setting will loop your card.

use switch 1 and 6 down to flash loader.

just a possibility... i read at other site, rom10x,that some nexus were made with extra resist that needs removal otherwise unlocker does not see newd13. check out sites 'front page news' for info.

again, not sure where you bought from or that this has anything to do with your problem. came across this info just before seeing your post.

Hy guys, what is the difference between this two flashes for the Atmel of the unlocker? I have a sureshot modded and i can get the success, saying that the card is open, but no luck when trying to read the EEprom after. So far i was working just with d13, but something looks wrong with my unlocked, althought, i am getting the "102 card is now open" message after some glitches.
Anyone successful with fp16 there? Thanks.

Well if u get the above after flashing, then your unlocker is flashed ok...Seems like a problem with the software your using to unlock the card..try using winexplorer insted...

i agree with studmonkey you did flash the loader correctly. pm me your e-mail addy and i will send you the file i use for opening rom 102 @ rev105 or less. i have no problem openning rom 102 at any rev.

If there is anyone who could help. I tried opening my rom 102 bell cards but they just wont work. I have managed to actually loop the card. What do i do now? Is there a program that anyone knows that is good for unlocking bev cards. Any help appreciated.

may be a dumb question but i have t911 and i have to use a switch to change from flash mode to glitch mode does the nexus have a jumper or switch yer supost to remove to use glitch mode?

Can't do anything so far..is ur nexus a blue or the white from mili? if its the white, i dont think you have to remove the R3 resistor...my orange nexus did the same thing saying all the time i need the nd13 flash....try a new cable...thats what did it for me

NagraMaster edit is not going to work with Nexus.

I had the same problem. flashed with newd13 . ok..played with the pot and it started...... 1/4 turns each way... can see the atr and can reset the atr now.....been glitching for 10 min. has not unlocked yet.

after the flash turn power off the nexus.change the dip switches and then repower before hitting unlock.

I checked and tried all your guys suggestions, still no improvement. Flashing still seems going through, but could not unlock card, still that "ND13 chip" shit. The card is white Nexus from Mili. I am kind of giving up, unless anybody have any other suggestion. 100 bucks goes to drain, really pissed, not just the money but the not working thing. 311 receiver also sits there, can't do anything...sucks.

I just got my white nexus from Mili and had fun getting a pci serial card and cable but I took my meter and set to 220 with no power, set power supply to nine volt pos tip, ran xpatmel 1.31 to load nd13 and changed dip switches.Nagramaster 2.0 loader version set com port and I glitched a rom102 rev 103 and another rev 240 in 8 seconds each.

I'm having the same problem. I was successful in writing to the white nexus and even unlocked 2 virgin Rom 102 cards. I was able to read the ATR both cards and got as far as saving one of the bins.

Now all of a suddern I keep getting the ""you need ND 13 atmel version to run this program" after I try to do anything to my card. After it can read the ATR.

I have gone back and reflashed it successfully but everytime I go to I was following the how to guides and am stuck half way through the proceess.

It's like the nexus is having probelms communicating to the software or the unit is just flakey. Sometimes it will see the ATR sometimes it will not, sometimes it will let me read the card but most of the time I keep getting the ND 13 error message. This is very frustrating.

I have check and double checked settings, pins, software, etc. I have swapped out cables, etc. I'm fail

I don't have any other ideas. Is there anyone else who is experiecing this?

I finally broke down and ordered a new programmer just so I could go on with this guides. I guess the white nexus worked long enough to unlock the two cards I had.

Thanks for the suggestion. Have unplugged and plugged it in repeatedly. Still nothing works. I have tried other laptops as well just to try to eliminate the PC.

I don't know what else to do. Just wondering who esle is seeing this kind of behavior.

I have give up for now. Any other good suggestions to try?

I would not remove a resistor unless mili told me to do so.

Make sure you have loader connected to com port 1 and com port 1 is enabled in the motherboard bios setting.

Make sure your using the correct DB9 serial cable (Straight-thru and not a Crossover) the serial cable you used with your FTA may not work with the Nexus.

Make sure you have the card in the card slot with eeprom down and card is making good contact with pins, .....:D

I noticed on my nexus that when the ohms setting is too low I get the error "You need nd13 hex to run this script". Try raising your ohms or changing out your POT. The original one that is installed is kind of crappy.

That happens when your ohms are a little to low. You should be getting
more dashes in there...

2.2k is where your ohms should be in NagraMaster at this rev...IMO

Hello I have a white nexus from mili. IT WORKS FINE!!! The biggest issue is the switch settings. I had the same problem trying to run nagramaster and some winexplorer scripts. HERE what got my unit to work with the these programs. the unit will accept a flash with a couple of settings however use the following at your own risk.!!!!! It works for me nicely.

1. just for orientation place the unlocker on the table with the card slot facing you. place #1 up thats the switch closest to
the serial connection - all the rest down. now flash.

2. place all switches up

3. now place #2 and #5 DOWN ....run nagramaster!

This cured message from nagramaster saying that I needed to use n13 flash.

I used a old rom10 in the card slot just to see if nagramaster reconized the flashed unit. when I got a error for the type of card ,i then proceed to unlock a rom102. Hope this helps!! test at your own risk!!

I Glitched ROM102 REV103 with Master 2.0 (Loader Version)and it opened in 2 minutes with white nexus unlocker. After patching with Standard Definition Tiers I saved the image to card without patching any blocker. I skipped the SK patching as the Card is married with old sub 301.013. It prompted to update the backdoor. I hit OK as per the "DPglitcher.html" Now I want to apply Blocker and using the "BAADFEEDDEADBEEF" as a password to unlock but Its giving error EEPROM READ FAILED.
