Baby back ribs are great. But if you know what you are doing, they are epic.
You know you have done well when a loud group of friends falls completely silent as soon as the ribs are served, and not a sound is spoken until they are gone. I’m firing off the smoker in about 15 minutes for another round of “I CAN’T GET ENOUGH” ribs.

It’s easy. You can do it too.
Get your self a smoker. Make sure you can regulate the tempture to 225 degrees. No more, no less. I use a Smokey Mountain Series Propane fired smoker. It works great.

Get some ribs. Costco has some of the best BB Ribs I have ever had. They come in a 3 pack. If you live in the heartland, you can do even better, but these are pretty good.

Get some rub. I have tried a bunch of different recipes but have found none that beat Bandana’s Rib Rub. You can get it here.

Get some sauce. I like Bandana's sweet/smokey sauce. Don’t put it on until the last 30 minutes. Cook the ribs without sauce.

Smoke with hickory for 5 hours @ 225 degrees.

Serve while hot.

Smoked 4 full racks yesterday. I thought I would validate my claim that bandana's was king. I cooked 4 different rubs and guess what. Yup! Bandana's Rib Rub proved to be the most liked by all the folks in attendance.

I think I have a bit of a rib hangover this morning :)

All ate until it hurt.

If you like a tangy/sweet BBQ sauce This is the best recipe Ive ever tried:
1 cup of bull's eye(original)
1/4 cup honey

No premade honey BBQ sauce compares to this.
