do a search for xbox and scene on yahoo and it will take u to a good spot where u can find alot of VERY useful info
If you are using avalaunch for your desktop, you can use qwix to connect and create an iso. If you are using another desktop, you can use an application like XBOX ISO Transfer. Either way, you need to run and app like these to connect with ftp to the xbox, and create the ISO on your pc. Then you can burn it to DVD.
Hope this helps

i believe there is no mod chip for the xbox 360, yet, but they have made progress in updating the firmware for the xbox 360 dvd drives so that you can make copies of 360 games and be able to play them on your 360 is that what your looking for?????

Correct, but these files generally then have to be reconstructed into a compatible ISO File to burn and boot, as the xbox will not boot ISO9660 filestructures. You might succeed in UDF/ISO structures with xbox compatibility, but its best to use the filestructure Qwix or Xbox ISO maker will dynamically create while transferring data from the console. This is what original discs are formatted in, so the console seems to have an easier time reading them.
For homebrew/emulators/dashes sure, map a windows network share. Its a waste of time to transfer from xbox to computer over this type of protocol though, as you have to then spend an extra 15-20 minutes compiling a ISO file - which if done with quix would be done on-the-fly.
Of course the UDF/ISO structures may work perfectly for you, provided you didn't get any incomplete, skipped or corrupted transfers.

xbox-scene tutorials will give you everything.
You need something on your xbox with an ftp server. Avalaunch, as mentioned, and most dashboards have that.
Sounds like you need "c-xbox tool" on your PC to ftp & create ISOs
Then burn in Nero.
From the c-xbox tool readme
"You can Make/extract XISO's, FTP your folders/ISO's to Xbox (ISO's on the fly, without any temp files, not even in memory), You can patch and edit XBE-Titles, Explore an iso, scan a folder for XISO-images, MXM and Menux Multigame wizards... and more(or there will come more)."
xbox360 is possible. The actual DVD firmware patch is easier than the original xbox modchips.
The drawback is that it isn't a full hack. It just alters the media flag on your backups to appear as originals.
This means that region coding is still a factor.
Plus the hardware required to do the inital patch & then successfully burn DVDs is specific.
A PC with SATA prefereably running nvidia nforce3 chipset
A dual layer DVD burner with the ability to modify the bitsetting flag.
Plus a carefully selected blank DL DVD.
Easy huh.
