RCA 222RD NoZKT Mod

Hi everyone,

Thanks for letting me join the site. I found lots of good info on here. I've spent the last two days building the Jtag & mod my 222RD. All seems to work good so far. My question today is what do I do after back up the Flash & Eeprom? I read the instruction by Unwink but it seems to suggest that reading it and edit it. The problem is I don't know how to edit thos file. Could someone please tell me what to do next, please?

Yeah, I did read everything and prepared for this mod. I just have a terrible headache after two days (It'll get better next time :-) of building Jtag & Mod so I am confused at the last step. Any quick help would be greatly appreciated.

after you do a backup of your flash and eeprom you erase it and reprogram it with new flash. check the how to again...it helps

Could you tell me how to obtain the new flash please? I would edit the bin file but I have no idea how to. If there an instruction somewhere, please let me know.

Look in the NO ZKT mod files section.
drd222 nozkt_v1.zip 1 chip
drd222 nozkt_v2.zip 2 chip

get the right one!
If you have a prom, you are SOL.

Thanks gentlemen for you help. Of the two files, version one doesn't work just give a GREEN screen. Version two works great. Thanks again.
