I"m familiar with AVR-X and I always been doing plastik testing. Although, I have been noticing that the the most unsavvy people out there have this set-top boxes that get them dishnetwork, free. Do these not require updates? I cant imagine the people that own them would know how to if there was a need ever. I'm assuming these boxes they use are FTA, right?
Do FTA require updates like plastik. How often are updates available and does anyone forsee them going bad after a year. MagicCArd lasted year, AVR-X lasted less then 2years.
anyways, any help would be appreciated for a beginner FTA question.
