My original B*v card Rom 102 Rev 240
After my friend unlocked the card, it became: Rom 102 rev 245
I use N2Edit 1.0 Beta 7 "Read From Card" this is what i get:
ATR: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 FF 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50 31 30 32 20 52 65 76 32 34 35 65
CAM Type: ROM102 Rev245
Setting IFS
Provider: Unknown
Reading Card image...
Failed to read card. (Retries: 15)
Is the card looped? or is it still programable?
Thanks

Sounds like he screwed up writing it. Try to unlock it with your password from the blocker he used & write a clean 102 rev 240 image onto it. After that read the blocker instructions real good before writing it again.

I am new to rom 102. I don't know what he did to unlock the card. He didn't give me any password.

Unlocking the card won't update it, it just gives you a way to get into the card to read & write. You write tiers to the card to open up your channels & you write a blocker to the card to stop Bev from locking you back out of your card & to make it look like it updated to rev 245. That blocker has a password in it to let you back inte the card later. If it was a public blocker the password would have probobly been AABBCCDDAABBCCDD. The instructions with the blocker will usually tell you to change this password. You can try this password or ask your buddy what password he used. If your lucky you might get back into your card.

Thank you for your prompt respond and help. I try the password, AABBCCDDAABBCCDD but it doesn't work. I will talk to my buddy to get the password.

you need a backdoor password for the card. He must have wrote a new image to the card after opening it. This rev is (currently) not glitchable, but I presume it is spoofed though and does not contain the block in the road that the real stream update has.
If your friend opened it up for you it should be the same rev, unknown provider is common when you glitch - rev changing isn't. Unless he wrote an image to the card, you might have a streamlocked 245 rev. that got mixed up or swapped...
Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. Note: I haven't put the card into the receiver after the card is unlocked.
