I have 3 ex-subbed rom 102's rev 103. I have ordered Milli's white nexus unlocker. I just have a few questions before I get started.

1. Where can I buy a variable power supply?

2. What is the best serial cable to use?

3. What does it mean when you say "POT set to just under 220 ohms.". What is a "pot"?

4. Do I need an ohm reader?

I used to program the rom3's but have been on the FTA bandwagon a while so I am trying to get back in the programming plastic groove. I have been reading for awhile but still kind of hesitant about going through with this. I just don't want to loop the cards. Thanks for any help.

If you have the IRD's that came with the cards all you have to do is unlock the cards use Romcode to program & watch TV does not get much easier then that.Radio Shack has the power supply 300mA works great. I beleive any serial cable will work, don't get fooled buy the expensive (Monster) cables they all work the same just a waste of money. The Pot is the small phillips head screw by the dip switches. You must use a ohm meter to set the pot right. 200 ohms has worked great for me.Turning the screw gives less or more ohms. Use the search feature here it will help you alot.It is all fun. Good luck.:D :D
