According to the notes that I have for JT-TEK this was how to do the mod:

On 74HC00 lift pins 4,9,11,12,13
On HC74 lift pin 9
On Atmel lift pins 14 & 18

On 74HC00 wire:
pin 4 to pin18 of the atmel
pin 9 to pin 9 of HC74
pin 11 to pin11 of IC5
pin 12 to where pin 9 would be if you have not lifted (try for under-board point)
pin 13 to pin 14 of atmel

To wire the pot:
Center leg of pot to pin 15 of IC5 under board
Outside leg of pot to pin 7 on top of leg of IC5

To wire switch:
Switch goes between pin 10 of the MAX232 chip and pin 18 of atmel for flashing.

Hope this helps, I took this as notes from somewhere, credit to the original author.

THANKS for the help, I did this mod before but I could not get it to work, do you know if the led needs to be removed?

I apologize but i have neither owned nor modded one of these units before. I know on the t911 mods the instructions are to remove the one LED. I have these pics but do NOT know how accurate they are so use at your own risk. Other than that maybe someone can assist who has one, or better yet you may want to go back and check your wiring. Make sure you are counting the pins correctly on the IC chips (google "how to count pin numbers on IC" ).

THANKS again my friend I really do appreciate your help, I followed all the instructions I can find including yours, I am very good at counting and soldering.
I did an absolute i unlooper and I unlocked rom 10 and 102, but after I replaced the 4053 ic’s to 4619, I looped 4 Rom 102 cards, that is why I am trying to mod this J-Tek unlooper. THANKS again
