I have a power supply that came with my old HU Loader/Glitcher. It is a 9VDC 300mA. It is not variable though. It does have the (-)----(0----(+). Is this ok to use with the white nexus or do I need to buy a variable one at rat shack.

Varible power supply gives you options to adj too what your loader likes. With fixed you can only use the pot to try adj..
That should be fine though
Oh and is a 9vDC 1000ma ps be fine? Ive also got a lot of 12v power suplies hanging around whats best for the nexus?

how 1000 MA? that is 1 amp and is probally the max load the regulator can take. I would try to tone it down a bit. I know alot of people swear by different voltages. but guys there is a regulator on your loader. no matter if you 6 volts or 12 volts. the loader is only getting 5 volts because of the regulator..

The 1000 ma rating on the power supply indicates the max load that the power supply can power. The power supply does not put any load on the deviice it is powering.
It's like havingn a 200 amp service on your house. It means you are able to handle 200 amps of load if needed. It does mean you are actually using 200 amps alll the time.
Thanks I'll probably use a 9v 500ma supply I have when the nexus comes in

Is this the same as a 9v 300ma positive center power supply?
I ordered an ISO a couple of days ago and that is what i need.
