I have a 311 and did the mod for connectios...in iso I get no atr is this normal?...also what s/w do I use to glitch? is it the same as a rom 102 at 103 or are the revs diff. on 311's?

No not normal........you obviously are not correctly connected......

damn, I have a good connection from an old bootloader to my solder joints.......by chance do you have the connection lay out for a card for ex. vcc,grond,clock,I/O,
