If I'm in the wrong forum, sorry. I'm interested in getting a HD receiver. Can it be "tested"? I know nothing about what card , if any(p4, p5 etc.), is in the ird. I heard a rumor that the new generation of ird will have the "card" built into the ird. Any truth to this?

cookie i don't think there are many HD receivers out there can take HU cards. what i would do if i were u is load maybe a 3m on your HU and stick it in there. if it says call ext 752, its bad news. if it says 711,722,732,744,745 you might be in luck. how new is the receiver anyway?
