Hi,
I'm really new in this business. Could you please explain what exactly this 'stream lock' means?
Also is unlocking needed for Nagra 1 too?
Stream locked for lack of technical terms means that one of us (tv stealers) has not glitched into the card with our devices and installed a0-ff intercept on the card to enable programing.
A locked card that has the above but still cant be read usually is referred to a dealer locked card even if the person who put the password on it is not a dealer. It is a phrase carried over from when dealers would unlock cards and put a password on them so the people would have to send it back to them again to unlock it.
The term stream refers to the digital data that comes in from your dish into the IRD (reciever) and onto the card from charlie(DNET).
Right now a rev 109 rom 102 is the only true stream locked card because we cant get into it yet.
But in your case any card that has never been compromised could be called stream locked.
I hope I made any sense at all. I dont want to get sprayed.

And this a0-ff intercept is what's being used by n2edit when you perform card read/writes?
