excuse my ignorance but I have been searching and searching but yet to find the exact answer... so I guess I'll just ask and get it over with:rolleyes: . I have an ISO programmer from doing the rom3 and rom 10 cards will this work on the new 102 and 103's? or do I need a new programmer?
Thanx for the help guys.

You Only Need To Flash The Iso With Newd13....1 And 6 Up And The Rest Are Down Or Off...2 And 5 On When Programming.

It should work fine. Make sure your programmer has a 3.6864 crystal on it and you'll be good to go.
I hope you understand that this will program a card, not unlock it.

He asked about an iso programmer, not an unlocker. You can't flash an iso programmer.
if it doesn't have a 3.68 on it you can alsways change it ...
if it has 3.68 and it worked on rom 10 it is good to go for rom 102.
see titus99 post above and understand what he is saying about unlocking

You are good to go with the same ISO you have, just use the Nagra2edit program to read your card.

hello, sounds like we are having similar problems. anyone out there willing to help me out with a couple of questions about a "nexus" ISO programmer and using it with rom code and programming a 102? i also bought mine from mili a couple of years ago and am just now getting to use it. do i need to flash this unit and if so with what flash? the same flash as with the nexus unlocker? and also what dip switches should i have on? again with the same as the unlocker? i have tried these with no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated. i have got all my cards unlocked and ready to go i just can't seem to get a read with the programmer.
thanks

an ISO programer is different from a loader. as far as I know there is no device that acts as an ISO programmer and a Loader on the same box. So, what do you have, an ISO or a loader?, tipically an ISO does not have dip switches, a loader does.

i have a nexus ISO, (i thought it was a programmer, maybe it is called a loader). it has 6 dip switches on the back. i have no idea which ones are supposed to be on or off.
thanks

Not to confuse you anymore than you already are but you have a glitcher/unlocker not an ISO programmer. To use it, dip switches 1 & 6 need to be on to flash the glitcher/unlocker and 2 & 5 to do whatever you are going to do to the card.
yes, you should be able to rickr2
ouch my eyes! maybe a better pic....someone esle may know by these
if it is a has 3.68 then you good to go.

i bought the iso from mili a long time ago.. it is a 3.57 and 3.68 mhz and the t-6 has dip switches i used to useit on the h-cards and the hu-cards...sorry about the pics haha
Try the 3.68, it might work. Try to get ATR on card and if that goes well, try to read card. You shouldn't hurt the card by reading it.

Nexus made an ISO with six different dip switches for various crystals. If it says Nexus ISO on the top of the plastic case, then just put dipswitch # 1 down. Leave all other dip switchs up. Dip Switch #1 is the 3.68 crystal.

thanks very much, i got my cards programmed with my nexus iso. now i just got to figure out why i am not writing my modified tsop properly with my jtag. i erased the full flash and then programmed the modified tsop i did in flash edit but i am still getting "card invalid with this receiver". i know this is the last step, i feel so close and i know this should be so simple . i have used my jtag tons of times fixing ecm's. should i be writing to the EPROM sector or ?
thanks again

Create a virgin epprom in Flash Edit and write that to your receiver as well.

Double check and make sure the boxkeys on your IRD match the ones on your card.

thanks so very much guys. i finally got it all together and got my first couple of receivers going again. i will say it has paid off collecting a stack of those 5.00 thrift store receivers of all types over the last couple of years (LOL). some are definitely easier to get going than others. sure am looking forward to get to play with DTV again someday as well.
thanks again!!, blue skies
