Hi all,

I had programmed my rom 102 rev 103 card and applied the latest blocker (28G) after programming did ATR reset and I was at rev 109 . When I went and inserted the card into the receiver I got a message that the smart card is not inserted correctly , so I tried several times to put it back again and each time same message : card not inserted correctly. Then I went back to the programmer and wanted to reprogram the card all over again and to my surprise I am getting ATR Error. What could have happened ? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Before Programming The Card,try To Bend The Card A Little.sometimes The Iso Slot Is Too Wide And Could Not Make Contact With The Card.it Happened To Me Many Times.

Try cleaning the card contact points with a pencil eraser.

I tried cleaning the card contacts, bended it a bit , still no go. Is it possible the card is looped ?

try a piece of paper on top of the card to make it fit tight.when you went to read it did you shut off you loader in between mine will lock up some time no read .shut off read's fine.

My was rading NO ATR FF and took eraser and cleaned contact read card again

You looped the card if you are getting no ATR... Sucks but thats the way it goes sometimes. Static can be killer, or any number of other things. No ATR=Ice scrapper right now, there is no unlooping scripts.. so put it in the back or your draw and maybe someday you can bring it back to life.
