I have a 508 that seems to be a 510. Anyways, I am trying to read the TSOP and having the following challenge. I have read it many times, and many times when I open it in Flashedit it tells me the checksums are too bad to open (I can see the BK and IRD, which are correct, with Jkeys). A couple of times I can open, and using the Flashedit with a model of "501/508/510 (moved IRDinfo)" I see the correct IRD and BK.

My question, I get a crc in red of "0003". Is this good???? Can I use this? I don't want to erase it until I know I have a good copy.

Thanks! Attached is an image of my FlashEdit

Also, does anyone have the Map of TSOP? I realized if I select Flash 1(U6-29DL323) (start 7F800000) i can't read it, but if I use Flash 2(U7-29DL323) I can read it, with a CRC in red of 0003

I just clicked fix crc and you only use U7 and I also have found that you need to use (moved keys) to get it right

"Moved ird info" is what a 508 or 510 has for original flashes.
If you mod for private romcode bin, or public numbers, you will have to remove the SKs and relocate the receiver data, then the PVR will have "moved bootstrap" type data.
If you have a married card then the data move or SK removal is not nescessary.

Skinerd,
If the cam is virgin (never streamed) is it still considered married to the receiver it came with? Sorry if this is a stupid question....
