I have one of the ISO programmer and ROM 102 that I purchased in Milli's store. I am trying to program the card with N2E2.5. When I click on reset ATR or try to do anything to the card I get a message that says "No ATR!". From what I have read this could either mean that it is looped or that the connection is bad. The serial connection and power supply was used with my programmer that I used for the Rom 10.

My questions are:

1. Is there supposed to be a red light on the programmer when the card is pressed all the way in? I get a red light that comes on when I press the card in but when it is pressed all the way in the light goes out.

2. When you put the card in the programmer what side should be facing up? I have been placing it in the programmer with the yellow side up but maybe I am not putting it in right.

Any help is appreciated.

I tried that and still get the same thing. I have an old ROM 10 here that is reading in the programmer. It says Rom 102 Rev 103 but I think that is just because it still has the fix on it that made it act as a Rom 102. If anyone else has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have checked the settings. My Rom 10 will read in the programmer. It is just the 102 that won't work. When I try and open the 102 in NagraEdit 4.1 it says ATR string Invalid. I know that you have to use N2E to program a 102 but I thought I would try NagraEdit just to see if the programmer was connected correctly.

Check the readme file that came with N2Edit. I believe it discusses changing the delay settings in N2Edit. That might help. Also try an older version of N2Edit - version 1 beta 9.

Your power supply should be 9 volts. That can make a difference when reading/writing cards.

I just tried NagraEdit 1 Beta 9 with the same results. Actually what it says in that version of NagraEdit is ATR Error. I know the power supply is working because I am able to read a Rom 10 Card with the programmer. The one version of NagraEdit 2.5 doesn't have a read me with it. Could someone tell me what settings it should be?

THanks
