I recently have been shown and able to aquire to tsest whats being called the " duplicator" . It looks like a bootloader board or an avr board and has been fitted with a dp 311 chip? Has anyonelse played with one yet , Milli? I was looking at the option but was wondering if it can be verified by a mod in here?

Those have been around for about 2 months now, nice little gadgets yours is probally green, but now there made in yellow
A local dealer has the same item. These things are basically a ROM 102. It uses the ROM chip removed from a DP311/811 and placed onto a PCB board. It programs and works like a ROM 102 becase it is basically a ROM 102.
Seen pics of it even more than a few months ago.
never heard if anybody has one working but I dont see why not.
Funny this should come up today of all days.
no links no ads you have to find it on your own for now sorry.
I would be happy to test one for review :) just send it to mili to send to me, lol

the boards or the whole thing already made and programed.
You stick the whole thing in a card slot just like you would a rom 102.
the chip is the same thing that a 311 has built in.
So you would have a built in rom102 chip on a inserted wafer board.
Honestly I have not been in contact with anybody who has programed one to work yet.
I have not read or seen anything to indicate it would not work however.
A bunch of stolen chips form DP311 receivers mounted on a PCB. Basically a makeshift ROM102 card.

I think you need the box key and ird number out of it.
I "borrowed" one of these a while back from the local dealer I spoke of. They work exactly like a ROM 102 and you load ROM bins on it just like a ROM 102 using an iso programmer. As Mili has said, it is basically a 311 chip on a board. Only thing I did not like about (at least the one I saw) was that the board was longer than a standard ROM card and the door on the 301 receiver I have won't close. One final thing. The one I had needed to be unlocked just like a ROM 102. before it could be used.

At another forum, testers are pasting, wiring, and programming the 311 chip to old/looped rom10 or rom3 cards. Do you really need to buy a the "duplicator"?
