510-sub - how to add tiers and blocker ???

Did some reading and tried to program my card - did not work
- error #20 - "card not valid for this receiver"

-I have a sub DVR-510
-opened my card when it was at rev-107
-fixed provider
-cleaned code space

I am trying to use that image to add more tiers and blocker
and use it on my sub IRD. ( later i will clone that IRD )

Since i am using my sub-image and my sub-ird my understanding
is that i don't have to change anything on the image and on the ird.

This is what i did:
- opened image in n2edit-b9
- cleaned code space
- patched tiers i found on forum
- patched blocker ( first part only )
- saved image
- wrote that image to the card.

everything went ok but I am getting "card not valid for this receiver"

are tiers ----------- "ird#" and "box keys" sensitive ?

do you think because i used tiers not made for my ird
making this error to come up?

Check,to make sure teirs havn't expired

change your cam # in your blocker to what your sub is supposed to be. Very common error. Only patch the first half of the blocker.

I hope you saved that image of your sub in about 5 different places!

Use DTierworks and you will be good to go.

Got it !!!!

- I took all the info i need for dt-tierworks
from my image.
- Made my own tiers.
- Took v28g blocker (first part only)
changed the cam#.
- Used n2edit-b9 to open image.
- Patched tiers.
- Patched blocker.
- Wrote to card.

Works !!!!!!

I have now a clone of my sub wide-open
works on my sub-ird.
My next step is to clone that receiver.
