It seems like common sense to me, even IF they managed to get the entire map, you'd see an instant quick fix come out immedately. Every minute screens are black costs dealers money; They wont wait for a full bulletproof fix when they can get tv back up and running now and get the $$ flowing back in.

One of their messages indicated that this fix was gonna be a true rom 102 emulation instead of a patch job. This fix is supposed to last until another card swap.

I agree with you. They should do a quick fix for now and then they can release an update down the road. Alot of the info being released doesn't make sense. I guess we'll have to see if there really is a fix and how long it will last.

Last time coders at CC figured it out. It then took Mr. Viewsat 1 week to copy the math. The coders had do give this dumbass about half-a-dozen hints before he got the SHA-1 routine right. Do you honestly think he figured it out all by himself this time around? The best coders in the biz are still in the dark. Tell Mr. Viewsat that while he's at it, he should fix the European systems too. . As soon as coders figured out the last Map calls, dish introduced some more. well, interesting development if it is in fact true. even if they are unable to keep the fta fix up the info obtained from this will benefit us all. if it is in fact true they peeled the card for the info, it presents an entirely new way to compromise a card. it is always stated in these forums that if it can be encrypted it can be decrypted, this is true. it can also be said with the proper tools and time i can build the space shuttle. if this did in fact occur someone has commited the time, money and tools to compromise a 102 card. is there any secure encryption with the ability to invade a card this way? having said all that i'll believe it when i see it.

man you believe this, frig veiwsat I am uploading the p4 hack it works with iso and unlooper, even the moded ones best part is the cards don't loop. I have been holding out on you guys all along, sorry I figured it out like two days after the hu stream shut down. Since then I have came up with the "hu to P4" hack, it works flawless so pull out the old hu's again. Go get at ftp in an hour. Oh the acsi well I got it the p4 and p5 one I will include it in the upload.
