Hey Guys,
Its been long enough since I played around, so I started work on my new yellow card (Rom 102 Rev103) and my new nexus orange unlocker. I chose the model 3800 receiver for ease of use. I followed the guide on bellexpress.vu to unlock the card. That took about 30 seconds (my pot setting was 800Ohm btw).

I proceeded to add the DT08 successfully and then followed instructions on the ROM102 programming guide to program the tiers and add the ROM102-V28BLOCKER.zip blocker.
Saved and wrote the bin (used N2Edt 2.5 to write the file).
Everything wrote successfully, no errors at all. I double checked by trying to read the card, and yes it was not reading after adding the blocker.

Now, I put the card in my 3800 Model receiver and all I get is the full guide, channels are all in blue, but I can only see preview channels.

I'm stumped. It seems like a problem with the keys on first glance, but then I believe that blocker should autoroll.
Were there somethings that needed to be done that the expressvu guide omitted to mention? Such as, did any of the ID's of the blocker (Cam, IRD or BK) need to be modified prior to applying the blocker to the card image?

I've read, and cant find this problem documented. Any help is appreciated as always.

Thanks in advance

Did you apply only part 1 of the blocker since you're using your private keys? You apply part 1 & 2 (separately) if your using public keys.

You can apply the current keys in the tier creator program. If you do that, you won't have to wait for keys to roll. Also the tier creator program should have your IRD, BK, and cam #.

Hope this helps.

yup, I applied only part 1 of the blocker and removed the line ";$30D8:039A317400000000 - CAMID" from the blcoker code
I added in my ird, bk and camid in the dishtier program now.

I noticed another thing, I had no Key96 on the card, so I've added that as well.

After all those additions, I am now getting the 005 Nag message saying you are not authorized.

If no luck in the next few hours , I'm going to try a public bin file next and modify my TSOP to match.
Right now, I'm still trying again from scratch.

It sounds like your close. It might need to roll keys.

approx how long to roll keys with the 102? If I remember, Rom10's used to take about 2 mins tops for me

30 minutes tops. Usually within 5 minutes.

well, couldnt get that setup to work. So I cleaned the codespace off my card, reloaded the virgin bin.
Then I downloaded a set called rom102-rev108.zip which has a bin file included thats supposedly ready with DT08. Wrote this bin to my 102 and checked that the card was not reading Successfully. (So there was a blocker included in that bin.)
Flashed my TSOP with the bk and ird they provided. So far i'm waiting 20 mins, and i STILL have the 005 NAG ....what a DRAG.

Anybody have any ideas? I need help!

Are you using public numbers?

Yes, these are public numbers I'm using now. In addition, I updated the expiry dates of the tiers on the public bin (just applied a patch over with all the tiers I generated in DT26.7).
However, I STILL get the CMD005 nag. That is madness.

One thought, since my receiver was never subbed with a yellow card, does this matter? I've not written any DT08 data to TSOP, since a lot of posts I read said that if using public numbers, no need to write any DT08 code. I've only changed the BK and IRD# of my TSOP to match.

ANother thought: My camid is a virgin. Let me try changing that and see what happens.

Damn, It worked. So it was my stupid fault for putting a virgin CAMID on the card. I should have known better.
PPV is not running, but I'm relieved this is finally working! I'll put up a post later to help some other people having this problem.

That's interesting.

When I changed my system over to private data, I made up a camid since I was using a card from the other service provider. I didn't realize that you had to use a subbed camid.
