C/Ku feed of BUD

Will a pansat box work on the Ku feed of a BUD with a
C/Ku feed?

I was considering getting a motorized dish for the pansat.

But if it will work off the Ku feed of my BUD I'll just hook it
up to that instead. And save a few bucks.

It's a chapperal feed with Drake LNB's on both C and KU.

I can use the orginal toshiba box for motor and polorotor
control if the pansat can't handle it. I know it won't do the
jack for dish movement. Not sure about the polorotor.

Anyone know?

Yes, it will work. Your last paragraph pretty much says what I was going to tell you. My 2500 would not change the polarity since it is mechanical, but other than that, worked fine.

It's going to require a major move and rewire to make it work where I
need it. A job I did not want to take on unless I knew it would work.

Now that I know let the crawling in the attic begin. :-)

You`re welcome. Just a bit of superfluous info - when I did this, I put all my Hor TP channels together, then put the Ver channels together. That way I could still channel surf some, but didn`t have to change the polorotor all the time. Good luck!

what satellite do you use for the starting point? do you use the same procedure as if you were realigning for c-band? start at the top of the arch?

i have 10 ft dish i used cband satelite 805 i have pansat 2500 but no changed polarity if any one know about it and i want to open all channel any body have channel master or programe for open the channel
