Hello all I use to test with dtv and than fta now it's gone i'm going to try my luck with plastic again but reading around alittle bit seems dish is a whole lot harder than dtv was.I've read you have to jtag your box to keep it from getting burned up.You have to get the box keys it is just alot can anyone tell me some good links to go to for how to's and files that I need and everything thatt I need to keep a card going.I have a 301-013 receiver and a 102 card also can the card be unmarried from one receiver so it can go to another receiver.

Click on the yellow card at the top of the page for a guide to follow. You can use the card on any receiver - assuming it's not rev 109.

so how do I find the rev number

If you have an iso programmer. Check ATR in N2Edit and if you get an atr it'll tell you the rom and rev.

I don't have a programmer yet I just got these receivers at a auction I need to know if it can be programmed. But I don,t even know what I need do I need a programmer and a unlocker

There's a sticky on this forum listing the different cards. Compare that with your card to ensure you have a Rom 102. The other problem you have is not knowing the rev of the card. If you sure it hasn't been in the stream the last 6 weeks then it's possible to be unlocked. If that's the case you'll need an unlocker and iso programmer.

I'm not sure if it has been in the stream are not I hooked the receiver up to my TV and it would not bring anything up it brings up a error flag can't remember what it even said. All of this sounds pretty hard tho guess i'll get a sub from disn network and deal with that for a while.
