311 interface card help.

Hi,
I got the interface card today. It has the head in the end where do i connect it to read the internal rom102 card???.. The Picture that mili has isn't clear. I do not see any connection that would recieve the female head. So please someone can help me to verify the steps involved to complete this process.

Doesnt look that your reciever has been modified to fit the interface. See Photo attached. There should be a small header glued near the BGA ROM102. I dont see one. You can find instructions all over the forum for what you will need to do. First, you need to do a few small mods, and using the interface and a ROM card unlocker, unlock the ROM102 BGA CHIP (you will have to repair some traces after glitching). Then, you can program the card.

i guess you just bought the interface to attach to your 311 thinking it was plug anbd play. takes a lot more work than that. tere are a lot of how tos but it takes soldering skills and lots of reading.. if you would have ordered the 311 from milli then it already comes connected.

Is there a guide to connect the header to the board? I have checked all over dssftp. the only one i saw was 311 how to and it was corrupted. So if you mechanicman have it please email it to me or re post it. If you can give solid instructions on what i need and how to do. please tell me that would be appreicated.

yes i know the file is corrupted as i also downloaded it. i would check at rom10x site. they do have some good 311 how tos.. go to the cardless ird section and start reading..

dssrookie has an excellent cardless section also. Lots of reading to do. ahmar03, I helped you a littele bit; below is a list of some items you needed to mod your 311.

Hardware: 30 guage wire, exacto knife, unlocker w/ 4619 chips, 3.68 crytal iso-programmer, fine-tip soldering gun

Software: winexplorer - version with keygen, script for winexplorer, dt-tier works, 311_How_to guide, and N2edt v2.5

there is no connection inside a receiver people. unless you or mili does it.

the one a whas assking is the one mili got for sale where in the reciver is going each wire
