Brand New VIP211 to Mili's Subscription

I have received a Brand New (Out of the Box) vip211 receiver which I subbed with Mili.
Even I got an email from Mili that it has been activated, my receiver sits on the "Your receiver is not subscribed...Please Contact Dish Network........" screen.

Do I have to have it "Pre-subbed" with Dish network at one point in order to subscribe with Mili ? Or the why I subscribed is just fine.

Please advice, what I need to do. Thanks....

Email Mili or Cam Kid, it might have not kicked in yet. How long has it been since you got the activation email?

Did you give CamKid your info ?? The ROO and SOO numbers that came on your receiver?
Mine was activated the same day I sent in the info?
Email CamKid and he will take care of it.

Thanks. No...... you do not have to have the receiver "pre-subbed" do you receive the free preview channel? if not you have to run a check switch test and let the receiver take a software update to get your receiver to work in order to be activated from what you posted this seems to be your problem.

When I connected the receiver the fist time, I ran the "Check Switch" successfully. It detected 110, 119 and 61.5 successfully. I also got 100+ signal strength on all the sats.

It asked me to update the software the first time and I did it.

But now, When I turn On the receiver, It scans the 119 receiver transponder from "0 of 5" to "5 of 5" and then it goes back to "The receiver is not subscribed yet. Please contact Dish Netwokr......."

NO mine was brand new out of the box no pre sub requried for Mili's DN Sub.
I think CamKid is going to have to try to help you.
Once its turned on by CamKid you need to run set up again a lock in each bird, start over with a check switch and then go back to the previous menu and start with the 110 and let it lock go to the 119 let it lock and so on.

Cam Kid is not good at responding to emails, you need to email Mili, give him your member number and he will take care of it.
Also, I should add I got Dish to activate my 211 as they replaced it with a new one. After they autorized it none of the channels were active so I had to resatrt the receiver a few times before the channels activated.

CamKid was really great for me, no real lag time in response and worked through a bad IRD issue with me over a two week period and had me up in less then 4 hours once I got the new 211.
I also had to re set / start the IRD with a "pull the plug reset" the all was good.

Why dont you try this. Unplug the receiver from the wall "no power" disconnect the SAT cable plug the receiver back to the wall "Power ON" then do the check switch. Then unplug the receiver from the wall again "power off" wait 1 min then plug it back on and do another check switch that way you are sure that you cleared the eeprom and now you have a clean check switch I had to do that on one of my receivers or I would always get the scanning for SAT 0 -5 test thing.

The 211 should clear in 15 seconds with no power. Some of the older ones take a little longer.
