update on fix

We are almost done, but it is taker longer then we thought, just be patient.. It is alot harder then you think, we do have a solution... rewriting it tricky. we understand what they have done. so we are almost there, it maybe wendesday but I don't like to give dates, pushes to hurry, so be patient we are doing our best to get file out.. we want to finish as soon as possible.

I do asure you there will be a fix soon ,,, quickest will be wendesday, longest will be 1 week. but please be patient, but don't like giving dates... Sorry but it coding, coding can take sometime. Ask any coder..

2) He's telling the truth.
3) <fill in the blank>

I want to believe that FTA will ride again, but my hopes for that are diminishing quickly. I don't know what to think anymore.

Which begs the question: why post lies? Granted, there a re a few people in this 'hobby' who don't know any better and will buy a FTA unit. But I believe that anyone (or most) who buys an FTA unit is buying because they want to pirate Dish. If a person is this knowledeable (to pirate dish) then there's good reason to believe that he's knowledgeable on the current status of FTA's. Isn't this a reasonable assumption?

Therefore, why post these rumors if it's a good bet that people are aware of the current status, thus they're holding off on purchasing FTA's? Do you think that maybe, just maybe, there might be one little iota of truth in what he's saying? But hey, what do I know? :)

I think he's covering for TDG. TDG guaranteed a fix by Wed. Since it's not going to happen, he knows the heat will be on TDG and nobody will ever believe him again.

Most of us haven't believed anything TDG has said for many years, but that's my guess. I wish he told the truth once - retiring from the sat business over a year ago. He even lied about that!

That's not true. If you check out some of the other sites, there's plenty of people buying fta boxes. "I just bought this fta, which bin do I use?". I agree that they should be doing some research, but they're not. I think most of the people see that a friend has one, so they buy one. They have no idea of ecm's or the like. It's too bad.

No doubt they're trying, but the problem is what to do with irds that have landed in the USA and sitting there collecting dust.

Why all the hastle with this Bs....I think there is a good bet that there will be a fix. I would not buy a "viewsat" now...and I would not promote anyone else to buy one now.Even is a fix come's out I would not promote anybody to buy one.But If a fix does come and It last's for a couple of month's I would start to think about fta as something to look at again.......My thought's, All the best...!!!

TDG just finished saying the fix would come this past weekend.....then said just hold on till wednesday...now Mr. Viewsat is saying another week. LOL.....not to mention all the previous lies. Its all a scam to gather up and cheer up the SUCKERS who continue to buy viewsat receivers. THey're just trying to sell as many FTA's as possible b4 its announced that there won't be a fix. I don't feel sorry for the idiots buying the FTA's without research.

I think it will be fix, but not today or next week, it probably take them mothsssssssss to figure it out. However they make that announment to give us hope but the main thing is keep the price of VS not falling and the dealer have time to dump their load...
