Dish 300 & sat 129?

Hello , can you use a dish 300 to get sat 129? I called Dishnetwork & they say no. But I have read different answers everywhere getting confused. I know for sure you can get 61.5 with dish 300 & I have read that 129 is a mirror of 61.5 what ever that means. Thanks:D

Either DP or Legacy will work. You have to match them, can't mix the two.

Thanks, having a hard time finding the azimuth & elevation for zip code 98908 sat 129. All of my ird's don't have the 129 option just 61.5 ,148,110,119,121. Is the a guide for 129 somewhere? Thanks:D :)

If your IRD's dont have the 129 on the list you may have another problem. You may need a newer IRD or a software upgrade. What IRD's do you have?

I have a five bedroom house. Plus I have my 501(bev) 510(dish) & 625 hooked to my plasma in the living room. I got most at flee markets and yard sales so I don't have to much invested just alot of time. I am just getting into the HD thing since I got my plasma's.:D :)

Every IRD you listed should have the 129 in the menu, on the next screen CHECK SWITCH if you have a check box for SUPERDISH and ALTERNATE put a check in each of those and see if it shows up in the sat menu.
What are you using for LNB's and switches?

I have two DP quad lnb dish 500's for dish and one legacy quad for Bev. I have DP21 switch I am going to try with my dish 300 when I find 129. I will look again on the 301 to see if I can get the 129 info. thanks:D :)
