Please, help with 311

Hi:

I'm really newbie. I have a pansat 2700 and a microyal 1200. Both down. But I also have 2 dp311 wich where working until february 2006, at that date I canceled my subscription. So I guess both are in good condition.

I would like someone to let me know how to star working with them. What shoud I do first?

Yes, I know I should do some reading, but I've search this forum and don't find how to start. If someone knows the link please give it to me.

I would apreciate very much any help here.

i think some of the files on the 311 how to are corrupt in the files section. the bellexpress does not show wiring hookups only if your interface card is already attached. you can find lots of 311 how toos at rom10x. you can decide to carefully remove the 311 102 chip and put on an interface card or old atmega etc or you can cut traces and keep the 102 chip in the 311 and wire an interface card to it. either way you do it requires soldering skills and pacience.
