In all the guides for jtagging I have read, they say to check the sticker on the 6000 motherboard for the eeprom build number, but they fail to show where it is or the format it's in.

I have one sticker that only says CNDD below a barcode and another that is a string of numbers followed by -AB.

I assume it's CNDD but I'm not sure.

Can any one point me in the right direction.

I haven't seen CNDD mentioned as a build number in any 6000 threads.
So I really could use a little help on this.

Thanks

what is the build of the tsop in jkeys? if it has never been tampered with that is the build. look at the sytem info screen, it will give software revision followed by a series of numbers such as CNDD tht is build config. It probally is CNDD but I am unfamiliar with 6000's so I cannot tell you for sure.

Jkeys reports it as CNDA that was my confusion as I didn't know what to use when I write a virgin eeprom.

yes, if someone used flashedit on the receiver it will change the last D to a A. that is fine. the fourth letter isn't important as long as the first three are the same.

All tsops end with an "A", the "D" or "C" or "J" on the end is the eeprom build.....

CNDD= eeprom
CNDA = tsop....
