programming oddity

Ok, I took a working receiver that just came up 005 today. Read the bin in N2edit, saved the bin, opened in NM, updated the keys, saved the bin, wrote back to receiver...all channels are black except for the local channels above 100 and after 7000. Anybody ever come across this. Have tried this twice and both times, same thing.:confused:

This has happened using DN with my 311 and my 811. All I am doing is changing the key in the bin that was working and writing it back to the card. I'm just getting the locals. WTF!

I am also able to read the card after I write the bin back to it, without unlocking it. Isn't it supposed to relock itself after I write back? It has the v28G blocker with password on it.
