That's correct. There's supposed to be an update for NagraEdit soon, but why use it when N2Edit works so well? JMHO.
i used nagraedit with no problems. n2edit gives me unknown provider sometimes.

5.0 is out for N2
The 50 version is said to have trojans in it. I just sticky posted a thread started by dog breath. He keeps up on this stuff pretty good, so it's most likely true.
nagraedit5 works for me 100% with pengas 28g blocker try to use that blocker with n2edit!. I heard that its not working with rom 103.
pss pss nagraedit5 checks for errors before writing anything to your card!.

n2edit v2.3 for reading and writing, nagredit v5 for editing. the latest n2edit is 2.55; no bad reports on that version.

Well everything prior to 5.0 is for N1 and is useless now.
5.0 is out now and works on N2 but it rumored to be a little buggy.

From what I read, N2Edit and Nagraedit 5 use different intercepts when writing and reading cards. So if you write with one and try to read with the other, it probably won't work (and in some cases people have had to reglitch to get back into the card). There's definately people reporting problems with Nagraedit 5, and I believe there will be an update soon. Like I mentioned in an earlier message, I've been using N2Edit 2.55 and have had no problems, so I'll keep using it. I have no reason to try anything else since it's working for me. Some people have had some problems with N2Edit 2.55, but by adjusting the delays in the options menu, they've usually made it work (or they go back to V1 beta 9).
Whenever trying any of these programs for the first time, it's usually a good idea to read a card 20 times to ensure it works properly with your setup. It's ok to have a problem during a read instead of during a write process. If the card reads fine every time, then you're usually safe in using that program to write.
wow - I need a beer after typing all that.
