New card question

DN is sending me a new card for a receiver I used to have activated. Assuming the card will be a high rev from what I have read. If I put it in the receiver I'm subbing too will it get the data from the stream after a reboot or will I have to call and have it activated? I was planning on taking the card in the subbed receiver and going plastic. This FTA BS is getting on my nerves. Least this way I won't need to a reader to put in a CS FTA box.

So it won't update through stream?? This card is yellow with blue strip at bottom. Says Dish 500 on front. What rev is that?

Need the info from the bottom of the white side. There are various posts about all this.

put card in receiver, turn receiver on, look at sys info. if that don't work pop it into an ISO and see what you get for an ATR.

The barcode? got numbers 132037 at very bottom and nagra id sw-04
BC starts with S 00

sw-04 is the latest of the di$h cards.

If your looking to test it you'll have to wait awhile.

So far no testing methods are available for this cam
type.

As far as I know only Di$h can turn one of them on.

That's an S02 card - can't be unlocked or programmed at this time.
