Mr. V said within 24 hours, TDG said he's "feeling" a 5-6 am release, could be
pacific time as its 5:09am right now here!!
I am pretty sure this time round we will see a fix, despite all the missed deadlines.
They have had the full MAP for about 2 weeks now, its inevitable they come up with the correct mathematical function sooner or later, so lets hope sooner!!

Confirmed.

Viewsat has a workign bin, still some issue with the EPG, but, the autoroll
is working 100%. You will be able to download it on the 30th or even sooner.

There is a leaked copy of a beta test file, concerning in which other FTA will
model from..you can find it online if you know where to look. I have.

So.. all that BS about FTA not been able to crack this one has been
debunked. FTA lives on. So I guess it remains for those who block and have tier issues on the 102 ROm...coming soon the ball is on your court.

lol, I love these updates. none of them contain anything but speculation. I don't see any leaked beta files, links, attachments so I can only deduce that they are really pushing the envelope to move these receivers before all hope is lost and they are stuck with a bunch of boxes instead of a wad of cash.

I hope those with FTA, or planning on purchasing an FTA will think twice. 2 months now with prevus, every day a promised fix and yet nothing to show for it. Seems if they are fixed they still arn't a good investment. Better off waiting the extra few days for the solution to be spread over to other atmel devices, like your $15 atmega or CEMU. At least with those if you wanted to sub you got your equipment in line.

Well said. I think it humorous that the first post of this thread said that a fix will be released this morning. A few messages later, someone else says that there's a leaked beta bin and it'll be released no later than July 30. What does that say about the supposed fix? Also I don't understand the beta bin talk. VS has said many times that they are going to release a permanent fix and it'll last until the rom 102 cards are swapped out.

The only good thing about this b.s. is that most of the sites won't post anything by TDG anymore. His posts always make me laugh, but enough is enough.

What I find even more rank is how one well known NOOBIE site will delete/move posts that have anything to do with any truth/fact finding on this issue, but yet will allow any and all forms of mili bashing and he's an advertiser.


At least mili has got the balls to call a spade a spade :D
