I've just purchased a new Bev 3100 with a virgen 102 Rev 240. My question is, can i marry this card to the reciever with out it updating to a Rev 245? And If not can this card be used with the new reciver without editing the TSOP?

Thanks, Jonii

Yes you can marry them together. You'll need to create dt08 for your card and receiver. Click on the yellow card at the top of the screen and read about creating a dt08. You'll have to edit the tsop no matter what approach you take.

I thought if you had a married card and reciver then Tsop editing wouldn't be nessary?

Your correct, but your card is not married. If your using an unmarried card, you have to mod the tsop if you go with the private or public fix.

so this takes me back to my original question , is there a way to marry this card without it updating to rev 245 / 109?

As I stated earlier - yes. You have to create a dt08 for the card and receiver - that will marry the two. You'll have to flash your tsop with the new info.
