no 148 on dp508

Guys,

I have a dp508 and a dish 500. I see satellites 119,110,61.5 on the receiver...but no 148. I really need to point to 148 for internationals. Can't point to 61.5 because neighbor blocks the view.

What shold I do? is this a switch problem(but there is not switch from the dish to the receiver..its probably a single LND model)..or a firmware problem? please let me know asap. I have requested for milli's sub today and want to get this before he tries to activate...

I CAN CONNECT TO 148 USING THE SAME DISH AND A 2800 RECEIVER.

If he 2800 works the 508 may just need to update, is it at P309 now??

I just checked once again. Its a dshdvr 508 receiver. donno if its the same as dp508..

Yes! its at P309..

Also, in the menu->dish installation->peak angles, I cannot select 140 and get the azimuth and other angles for dish 500. It says for dish 500, I can only select 110 or 119

Run the switch test again......after unplugging the receiver and replugging back in...
seems it doesn't see the switch correctly.
