Hi! I was jus programming my IRD 3100.10 for a rom 102 and now I get an error msg and can't write the flashes. There is also no power to the IRD. The error msg when I try to write is,
The flash codes returned are not recognized by jkeys
im not sure how to get my IRD back to life? Maybe use WALL? I can't find the program tho...please help...Thank you!

Unplug receiver, and close jkeys, then plug in receiver, and very quickly start jkeys, within 3 seconds, it may grab control and return the -010 to life, reflash 2 first.

NO WALL if it worked before. CHECK YOUR GROUND.

Check your connections. I KNOW it gets bad. Stop walk away and come back.
reset reset. good Luck.

I just tried wall, and I get an error when I open the program says...ID CODE IS INCORRET...in Wall...the ID is all FFFFFF's aswell as the implementation and the box keys. Im running out of ideas on how to fix it now

If the 301 resurrection guide won't get it back you are doing something wrong..or have a bad connection..do EXACTLY as the guide says, don't woory about what Wall says, what it does is force write to the flash, flash 2 first 60000 bytes is all that is needed.
If jkeys shows a good device ID, prolly jtag is ok......

Hi! I have tried, and it doesn't look like wall is writing the flash to the IRD...I know the computer can read the IRD, bcz when I open jkeys it says Device ID 0x500006D and Device LSI SC2000...and the boostrap, build cfg, model id, and software all have yyyy...im running out of ideas now...also when I try to erase, the flash in wall, it takes less than one second...dont think thats right...also the serial number in wall always says, Rxx-xxxxxx...and I can't get it changed, that shows me it's not writing the flash

Load flash 2 in wall, it will show the correct numbers IF the file you load is good, write the first 60000 bytes of flash 2 only......then go back to jkeys.

ok, I loaded it and wrote it...the program hung(froze) for about 2 mins, then it said done...I went back into wall, and it doesn't give the correct numbers I wrote to it...gives the R4294967295 and box keys FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...I think the EEPROM is erased...bcz in jkeys it says unable to read EEPROM...I try to write it with wall...and takes like 1 second...but I think thats to quick

There is no provision for erasing the eeprom, it can be done but no provision in either jkeys or wall to do it.

hi...ok what I have done now is try a different computer...and I can see a value in the ID and Implementation...I went into Jkeys...and I got a LRC error...but now it allows me to select and write to the flash. (I erased, and am doing flash 2 first)..but its writing very slow...says estimated time 50 mins...so i'll check back with the result
