Hello, just found site and first time posting.
I have a 4700 receiver and avr 3 with subbed card. Charlie cut me off Fri. night. Location ID now reads 00000001 still on software E360.
Can someone tell me what my options are to get back on.
Thanks already.
Should also add that I now receive absolutely nothing, can access menu only. Subbed card doesn`t even work.

Big Ren, pull out your jtag then open Jkeys. Hit 'Flash Programming'. Under 'Chip/Sector Programming' use drop down and select SA30. Then hit 'Erase' 4 -5 times. Now re-connect back to satellite feed (no card in slot). Plug power. Leave it alone for it to auto update. After awhile, the green light will begin to flash. You'll know it's finished when A) IRD will turn off....or....B) IRD will turn off and then turn on and will go to system info screen. Unplug for 10 secs, then plug power.
If you check your system info screen, you'll see that your Location ID will NOT be 0000001

Thanks for info. Been reading to try to gain knowledge. Which kind of Jtag .. I`m thinking a buffered Jtag, and then will this clip into the hole on bottom of IRD housing? Also thinking of changing to Atmega 128 is this a better choice than Avr 3? I had a subbed card in Avr, how come charlie got me?
Thanks for response and info

It won't clip into bottom but can be installed permanently,My opinion is that the atmega is a better choice than avr but you'll need boxkeys to run atmega, charlie got you because you were using a testing device in the ird!
