The original tsop should be fine...it'll only be corrupted if it has been hit with an ECM....so in your case your good to go....use jtag do a read for the boxkeys and program your atmega with the boxkeys from ird.
Now........ if you want to program that cam...which I would do as the atmegas tend to get hit...then read up on programming a Rom 3 and away you go!

You should have no need to flash another tsop bin to this Ird.
