After finishing the mod to a 430RGA I hooked it up and had pronounced horizontal scan lines on the screen.
These showed up on the coax output, but not the composite output.
I went to sleep and left it running, when I woke up (and the receiver had a chance to warm up thoroughly) the scan lines were gone and the picture is pretty much perfect.
I suspect this is an early sign of component failure.
Are there any known components which exhibit this behavoir that I could test with a meter, or will I have to start shooting parts with a can of freeze?
Or is this something altogether different?
