Do I have to edit the tsop with flash edit as in hex or regular?
And di I change the cam Id on the card when I program it with nagra 3.?
Can someone outline the process for me.
I have 3100 Bev.

this is a short answer maybe someone else can elaborate a bit more but when you use nagra 3....

First unlock your card using the Tools --> Remove card lock If you didnt enter in your password manually last time you programmed it.. It will probably be DEAD BEEF BAAD FOOD. if you did.. enter in that password..

You should now be able to read your card..
once the card EEPROM is dumped you can go to the data editor tab and enter in your subbed cam id IN HEX into 3 places:
{Code Space}
{Low Provider Info}
{High Providro Info}

Use calculator to convert from decimal number of cam id to hex eg S 09 8765 4321 XX
equals in hex 3ADE68B1
note: dont use the last two numbers on your card in your conversion.

ok now enter your hex no into the three spaces mentioned above...

I would also change your password for your card if you have not done so already.. to do that,

Click on the EEPROM editor tab..
scroll down to the C600 hex address
you will see your custom password there or probably DEADBEEFBAADFOOD if you didnt change it. this is the password for the blocker and it is a good idea to change it so BEV wont be able to get into your card using this password..

pick a new 16 digit HEX password. and MAKE SURE YOU REMBER YOUR NEW PASSWORD. or you WILL BE LOCKED OUT OF YOUR CARD.

click the mouse on the leftmost number to edit and start typing in the new password

all that is left to do is to write your EEPROM info to your card..
Card --> Write to card..

voila your all set..

Also FYI the TSOP has nothing to do with the Cam Id that is programmed on your card... the tsop contains the software that is used on your receiver ie. channel list, menus etc. thats why when this ECM hits your TSOP you only get like one or two channels to view.

In my opinion.. having a valid subbed cam id programed on your testing device tells the ECM woah hang on this reciever is a subscribed persons receiver and I dont want to hit it. But that theory may be wrong who knows.

Don't forget to write your blocker back or else you are wide open and will lock your cam....
Canuk...this statement is not correct,bud"It will probably be DEAD BEEF BAAD FOOD."The OO in FOOD are supposed to be in hex which would make it 00...S0 just to correct you here the actual Default password is
DEADBEEFBAADF00D
