View Full Version : saving rom 102 original image help please!

Hi1all

I modified my Mikobu m6.2 black board (rev. DD) with 5.0k pot. Flashed with xpatmel-131 and NagraMaster v2[1][1][1].0-Loader-Version. To start of I use external p/s (Powerline 3-12 volts 600mA) bought from Wal-M set its to7.5 volts and set the pot to 50.0 ohms t, which did not open my rom 102 rev.103 card, but while the nagra master still glitching I increase the pot slightly (right turn) within a couple of seconds it shown good response at the top and 102 cam now open. How do I save the original image? I go to card, read EEPROM, it said the card is lock. Does this mean the card is open or it sill lock?
Side note voltage read 3.9 volts and resistance read 53.5 ohms between cap and pot leg.See picture below.

you need to use iso to read card. have seen a few use nagramaster loader version to read cam, maybe try again with loader version if you got no ISO programer.

yes read cam and save eprom is saving original image.
then clean codespace and write clean image back to cam

Hi! Fubr,

Thank you for the respose Fubr. Could you walk me trought it. Every time I go to read EEprom it said the card is locked but when I glitch it said CAM is open.

Do a search for this file, it worked for me: Loader_Based_Rom102_Reader_damaged_Rev106.

This worked, when nothing else would read card, after it was glitched into.

Thank you old scool. I found the above file, what do I do next. do I flash my moded mikobu III m6.2 with this file? Would you mind sharing your experiece on how you got your to work.

You need to download WinExplorer v5.0 to use this script. First flash your loader with newd13. Then click on the "loader' script you downloaded and it should read your card.

Thank you old school. I called my local sat installer guy that I do business with, he charge $ 30.0 to open it. I should get it back in lest that an hour.

Wish I had a "sat guy" like that in my area.:) I don't even tell my family about these things. shhhhhhhhhhhh! Trust no one.

Just an update. I got my card back about 45 minutes ago, finish puting card reader in and scanning channels right now as i'm typing.
