Can anyone here help me find a hex file to flash my unlocker's atmel?
I've seen too many problems with serial port programming......
So, what I want to do is flash the 2313 with my old (reliable) printer port programmer. (using fbprog16.exe in dos, instead of xpatmel.)
Is there a hex version of newd13 in a format suitable for this program?
How about the eeprom?
Anyone with knowledge about how to create or convert these files?
Any help will be much appreciated. PM me if you like.
Regards,
BGW

Wow, that is making a every easy matter difficult. 95 percent of the problems are user related. Usually something simple. Have you tried to flash with serial before giving up on it?

Crazy1_79 is right as always --hehe-- Here is a sure fire way for most loaders ! OK first you need xpatmell 1.31 and Newed 13 / now dips 1 and 6 down to flash( most loaders ) .. open xpatmell 1.31 , Right click the gray in middle see the show timimings click it hit analyze .let it finish now delays are set .. should have added newed 13 in files in xpatmel 1.31 .. now click newd 13 should start to load it when complete . now you flashed loader !!

C'mon fellas, didn't you read my post?
No offence meant. Let me try again......
I'd like to flash the atmel using my PARALELL programmer on a laptop.
(I'm using a laptop with Win98 ....no serial port)
I think there is a difference in the hex files written for xpatmel (newd13) and the intel hex files that are needed for fbprg16.exe.
At this point I'd like to find someone who knows the difference, if any, and try to find a way to make the data compatible.
Thanks for your input.
