opened Rom102 will not read

I recently sent a rom102 to be opened . The person who opened it , then read it in N2Edit v 7 . I have tried to read using the same program and this is what it showed

I also tried N2Edit v9, and N2Edit2.55-----same result --Should the Rev be at 109 if it was successfully opened???///// Any ideas anyone thanks Bjay

There's a few things to look at.First,if he said it's opened and you believe him,there could be something wrong with your hardware settings.The card may not have been opened succesfully,or it has been soft looped.Either it needs to be glitched again or use the softloop D2C program to repair the unknown provider problem
And no,the card won't read as rev 109 if it is opened.It will read from rev 103 to 108 depending when it was last used in the stream. rev 109's can't be unlocked yet.

Pvotr, your reply is appreciated, Yes ,I believed him when he said that it was "open". I tried my iso with a rom10, and it worked fine!, but I wondered if it was compatable with 102s.[ it is a Boardmaster??] Is the d2c unlcker that you mentioned, the one from rom10 files?? Bjay

I think you should try a different iso programmer. Just because it worked on a rom 10 doesn't mean it'll work on a 102.

Bingo---- I finally tried a Variable power supply set at 9v, and the 102 opened and was able to read and save. Hope that this will help some one else who had similar problem----Good Luck Bjay
