Ok... some people are warning that going Autoroll sets up up for a big fall so do this at your own risk. Anyway this is how I did it...
I was using Gophers 42 TiersREV109for0001-V28G blocker expires 1-1-07.bn102 but it doesn't autoroll. So time to switch over to Penga.
First I downloaded ROM102-REV109for0001-V28H-BLOCKER-9800v0.txt and relock-ROM102-REV109for0001-V28H-9800v0.txt.
The first file is the blocker and the 2nd file is to re-lock your Rom 102 and keep Charlie from working his mischief on your card.
Open up the first file (blocker) and you will see that it is composed of two different patches. The first half is for us public people while the 2nd half is for people using a private Bin. Break this patch into two files and save them as Part1.txt and Part2.txt.
Ok... ready to start. First, unlock your card and READ it into memory using N2Edit. Then use the Clean Codespace option in N2Edit. Now WRITE the cleaned code back into your card. This removes the Gopher blocker and sets your card up as a nice clean happy card.
Both Gopher and Penga use the same Box keys, ird and Cam ID info so you don't have to change a bunch of stuff. But if you are going to switch from some other Bin to Penga you would now have to modify a bunch of stuff on your IRD or in your card and I'd be typing all afternoon trying to explain how to do that (and I'd probably screw it all up).
Next step is to READ your card back into N2Edit. Once that's done, use N2Edit's Apply Patch function to apply Part1.txt from above. Then apply Part2.txt from above. Reason for breaking it into 2 parts is because the patch window on N2Edit won't hold both parts at the same time.
Now apply the re-locker you downloaded. Ok.. nearly done. Now WRITE the modified bin back to your card.
Final step - try to READ your card. It should fail to read (because it's locked). If so, you are ready to rock. Stick your card in your IRD and watch Autorolling TV.
But remember the warning on line 1... it's possible that Charlie WANTS us to use Autoroll so he can do some evil shit to us. Time will tell...
